Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team across our community portfolio. You will supervise service operations, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional resident experiences while partnering with the General Manager.

You’ll apply your 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience and EPA Type I/II certifications to mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate preventative maintenance and vendor services to keep communities well-maintained and compliant.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience working in apartment maintenance
• EPA Certification Type I and II

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance service operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead and mentor on-site service teams to develop skills and abilities.
• Collaborate with General Manager to set expectations and meet deadlines.
• Plan and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize repairs.
• Manage budgets for supplies and vendor services using purchase order systems and bidding procedures.
