Job summary

Drucker & Falk, LLC is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Manager for The Everett community in Roanoke, VA. The role supports the Service Manager in maintaining buildings, grounds and equipment, and may supervise 0-8 staff in the manager's absence.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance tasks, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safety standards and OSHA compliance. Weekend on-call and schedule-based work are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA.
• Experience in supervising maintenance staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and supervising maintenance staff.
• Schedule routine maintenance tasks and allocate work orders.
• Be on emergency on-call status to respond to incidents.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety, cleanliness and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records, including budgets, invoices and inventory.
