Salary Range: $27.00 - $31.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day - including weekend and on-call

Assistant Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities
  • Use electronic systems to prioritize and respond to service requests within 48 hours, monitoring completion.
  • Implement and document preventive maintenance programs per company guidelines.
  • Maintain grounds and property appearance.
  • Repair or replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and other maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate with office and maintenance teams for apartment make-readies.
  • Provide backup support in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Identify and report hazards, and assist with supply and budget management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least one year of maintenance and safety experience.
  • Experience with heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes and compliance.
  • Proficiency in building maintenance and repair, including appliances and systems.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Own industry-specific tools.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and a valid driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications
  • Construction experience including foundations, framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical.
  • HVAC certification or ability to obtain.
  • E.P.A. Certification (Type II or 410A), CPO certification.

Work schedule is generally 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Saturday, with some overtime and on-call duties.
