Job summary

Liberty Diversified International's Rock Island, IL manufacturing facility seeks an Assistant Machine Operator II to support machine operators, set up orders, perform quality checks, and help maximize efficiency in corrugated production. This full-time role reports to a Production Supervisor and is based in Rock Island, IL.

Responsibilities include assisting with order setup, inspecting products, monitoring metrics, troubleshooting equipment, and helping with minor repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1+ year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders per customer specifications.
• Support quality checks by inspecting articles and first articles.
• Monitor production metrics and downtime to track performance.
• Communicate equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting.
• Assist with minor repairs with maintenance team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow plant safety processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
