Job summary

Hilo Fish Company in Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Logistics Coordinator to help optimize the flow of goods across our organization. You will report to the Logistics Manager and perform invoicing, schedule pickups, track deliveries, generate reports, and provide general clerical support.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with MS Office, strong time management and organizational abilities, and solid written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of essential office equipment and systems software, especially MS Office.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Understands the policies and procedures of order processing and deliveries.
• Coordinate shipping inventory/customer orders throughout the continental US and Hawaii.
• Supports all invoicing and billing of deliveries/shipments to customers.
• Involved with follow-up process with truckers, sales reps, and customers to ensure that if any service or delivery incidents occur, the necessary billing corrections are made.
• Follow up and process all claims, returns, and credits on time.
