Job summary

PILF Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager for Cane Rosso in Sachse, TX. You will help lead kitchen operations, uphold quality standards, and manage training and scheduling in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in varied kitchen positions (food prep, line cook, fry cook, expediter) with at least 6 months in a leadership/management role.
• Excellent communication with managers, kitchen and dining staff, and guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Stand for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work 45–50 hours per week.
• Experience with POS, inventory programs, and online ordering.
• Food service sanitation certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains rules, policies and procedures.
• Oversees training of new kitchen staff and fosters a positive, productive work environment.
• Ensures staff are trained in safe operation of kitchen equipment and sanitation.
• Assists with scheduling BOH labor to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and labor regulations at federal, state, county and municipal levels.
• Works to achieve objectives in service, quality, consistency and appearance; maintains sanitation standards and prepares required paperwork.
