HELP USA is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the food services team at a transitional shelter site in New York. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while supervising Residential Aides and tracking daily meal counts and inventory.

HELP USA is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to join the food services team at one of our transitional, shelter housing sites. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will report to the Safety Director and will supervise appointed Residential Aides. You will be responsible for helping with food preparation, food service, and kitchen cleanliness. You will also keep daily meal count records as well as accurate inventory records.
High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills.
Previous related experience in food service.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to keep a simple inventory of supplies on hand and needed.
Food Handlers License required.
Three years related work experience preferred.
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
