XO Taco is looking to hire an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist with ingredient preparation and cooking procedures.

Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Kitchen Manager with the preparation of ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
• Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
• Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
• Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Kitchen Managers' instructions.
• Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
• Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
• Coaching, motivating, and mentoring new hires to maintain brand standards and best practices for the kitchen.

Kitchen Assistant Requirements:

• Proven experience in kitchens.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
