Job summary

The Exchange in Dallas, TX seeks a seasoned Inspector General professional to conduct IG inspections and investigations, assess fraud risks, and monitor the corporate hotline.

You will evaluate global operations, lead investigations, and prepare clear action-oriented reports while coordinating with DoD IG and other services. Strong technical skills with Excel/Access are required.

Qualifications

  • Four years of experience in roles involving inspection, investigation, enforcement, and/or compliance specialization at the management level.
  • Or a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in roles involving inspection, investigation, enforcement, and/or compliance specialization at the management level.
  • Must successfully complete the DoD Inspector General training course and examination within 120 days of placement into position.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts on-site and telephonic interviews and prepares reports detailing recommended actions.
  • Analyzes data from multiple systems to identify root causes and propose remedies.
  • Performs research and collects case-related documentation and prepares initial summary reports.
  • Leads hotline-derived inquiries and coordinates with DoD IG offices; assists with external IG inspections.

Job Qualifications

Salary Minimum

$62,693.00

Major Duties

Conducts comprehensive on-site and telephonic interviews, analyzes information collected, and prepares clear and concise reports detailing recommended actions.

Collects and analyzes data from multiple systems and observations to reach reasonable conclusions on the root cause of problems and proposes corrective actions/possible remedies.

Performs a variety of technical and professional duties including research/collecting case-related documentation, assembling complaint profiles, determining appropriate case actions, and preparing initial summary reports. Reviews final inquiries for accuracy and thoroughness and closes data or report file.

Leads hotline-derived inquiries and investigations to satisfy two components of the Inspector General (IG) charter. Coordinates with the Army, Air Force, and Department of Defense (DoD) Inspector General (IG) offices. Assists with preparations for external Inspector General (IG) inspections.

Performs other duties as assigned.
