Signia by Hilton San Jose is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations and uphold high guest service standards in our downtown hotel.

You will support room readiness, manage inventory, and collaborate with Engineering to ensure timely maintenance. This role suits someone with at least 6 months in housekeeping and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills, in person and over the phone.
• Supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial laundry preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting areas.
• Manage room readiness: assign, inspect, verify status, and report updates.
• Monitor inventory: maintain linens and housekeeping supplies; keep carts stocked.
• Track payroll, manage work schedules, and oversee the lost and found program.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with Engineering and Property Operations.
• Inspire and develop the team through coaching and positive leadership.
