Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Paradise Valley, AZ to oversee the Housekeeping Department with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will lead a team to maintain clean rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while managing payroll, schedules, and supplies.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with standard office software.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in hotel or related field is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Proficiency with Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing is required.
• Long hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and accidents with courtesy and efficiency.
• Motivate, coach, and discipline housekeeping staff according to SOPs.
• Inspect rooms daily and ensure VIP rooms are inspected with supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and training programs.
• Balance and review housekeeping payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain inventory and par levels for supplies and equipment.
• Maintain guest privacy and security in procedures.
