Job summary

Hilton seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Los Angeles to lead day-to-day housekeeping operations in a high-volume hotel, coach staff, and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards.

The role emphasizes prioritizing tasks by occupancy and events, driving quality, cost-control, and guest satisfaction while collaborating with multiple departments and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/management education preferred.
• 2-3 years progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel.
• Experience managing employees, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Housekeeping leadership team in planning, directing, and managing daily operations across guest rooms and public areas.
• Set and adjust departmental priorities based on occupancy, forecasted business levels, group activity, VIP arrivals, and events.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; set clear performance expectations.
• Direct onboarding, training, and performance-management activities with HR and senior leadership.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and labor productivity aligned with financial objectives.
• Oversee quality assurance programs to ensure brand standards and procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and cost-control initiatives.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, F&B, HR, and other departments.
