Job summary

Hana-Maui Resort (Destination by Hyatt) seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to assist in overseeing housekeeping, public areas and night cleaning. The role requires strong attention to detail, safety policy adherence, and staff training.

The position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and emphasizes guest and team satisfaction. Candidate should have 2–3 years in hotel Rooms Management, excellent communication, and proficiency with Word/Excel, with full availability including evenings,

Qualifications

Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
2–3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience.
Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
Strong energy, leadership and customer-service focus.
Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to provide full availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the housekeeping area including public spaces and night cleaning.
Ensure safety and security policies are followed.
Train, develop and schedule staff as needed.
