Job summary

Bay Human Services is seeking an Assistant Home Manager to support the Home Manager in directing daily operations of our residential program for individuals with disabilities. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, work hands-on with staff, and help residents lead active, meaningful lives.

Shifts are afternoons, weekends, and occasional midnights, with daily travel in the local area as needed. The role emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and adherence to the individual plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Driver's license.
• Able to pass criminal background check.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with empathy and establish supportive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Home Manager in directing the daily operations of the home.
• Provide supervision and support to Direct Support Professionals and residents.
• Work hands-on with Direct Support Professionals to implement the plan.
• Assist with activities, community outings, and appointments for persons served.
