Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years minimum of proven industry experience with roadway maintenance or construction (for external candidates).
• Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• MSDS knowledge and safe handling experience.
• Leadership experience and ability to train lower level employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman in supervising a crew performing routine maintenance on state routes.
• Provide training on safety procedures and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Coordinate, plan, and direct routine maintenance activities.
• Assist with equipment operation and inspections of state routes and rights‑of‑way.
• Contribute to reports and documentation for monthly/bi-monthly requirements.
• Support emergency response and traffic control as needed.
