Planet Fitness - Glow Brands is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a superior, judgment-free member experience. You will lead a team, handle staffing, scheduling and member inquiries to ensure a fiscally healthy club.

The role values customer service excellence, leadership, and a proactive approach to daily operations. A standard benefit package and advancement potential are provided. This position is on-site at our Seymour, IN location.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness is preferred but not required.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and oversee staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities and answer phones.
• Assist in member sign-up and tours.
• Manage facility cleanliness and basic supply ordering.
• Track weekly, monthly and annual statistics.
