We're seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager / Operational Assistant Supervisor to join our 3rd shift operations team.   • LOCATION: Hanscom AFB Commissary
  • SHIFT: 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Supervise: Oversee a team, ensuring high-quality service in a military grocery store environment.
  • Be Hands-On: Engage in all operational tasks, including lifting, moving products, setting up displays, and handling equipment.
  • Team Training & Support: Lead staff training, scheduling, and ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain store cleanliness, manage inventory, and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.
  • Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively, uphold safety standards, and ensure timely task completion.
  • Safety First: Uphold safety standards and train team members in safe workplace practices.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to food safety, health codes, and military guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a grocery store or warehouse role.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team towards shared goals.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and cleaning chemicals, with accommodations available.
