Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of the store's busiest departments, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales, margin and inventory goals.

You will assist the Grocery Manager with staffing, training, ordering, and inventory control while ensuring health, safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. This role offers opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer focus.
• Proven leadership ability to build and motivate staff and manage reports, margins, and sales numbers.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and planning; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal-setting and teamwork.
• Help lead a team that ensures high-quality products and excellent customer service.
