Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to assist in leading one of our busiest store teams and help customers make healthy food choices. You will oversee merchandising, inventory controls, staff supervision, and ongoing planning to drive productivity and profits.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with 1–3 years retail management experience
• Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication; team environment collaboration
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop staff
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform routine store tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in merchandising the department for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and team supervision
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and goal setting
• Help lead a team to deliver high quality products and customer experience
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing Grocery Team
• Unload deliveries and ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed
• Support fast-paced operations and customer service excellence
