Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to support the Grocery Manager in leading one of our busiest store teams in Reno, NV. You will help drive sales, margin, and inventory while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise merchandising, assist in hiring and training the Grocery Team, and ensure compliance with health and sanitation guidelines, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work in a team.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Must lift and move milk trays up to 60 lbs and boxes up to 50 lbs as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver high-quality product and customer service.
