Job summary

Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, FL is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Golf Professional to join our hospitality-focused team.

You will assist in all aspects of golf shop operations, handle POS transactions, manage tee time pricing, and support membership activities while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• AA or 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and POS/tee time systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in POS revisions for green fee and merchandise sales.
• Coordinate with Accounting on policy updates.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets and receive payments from members and guests.
• Resolve duplicate charges and payment discrepancies.
• Track force posts and no-show charges.
• Promote club golf activities.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked golf shop.
• Assist with merchandise procurement and training.

Overview

Tiburon Golf Club, located in Naples, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Assistant Golf Professional. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization.

Experience Required

• Associate's degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms. Frequently talks or hears; tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
• Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
• Coordinate with Accounting Departments on policy and procedure revisions, updates, and implementation.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-in, and receive payments from members and guests.
• Resolve discrepancies related to duplicate charges and over or under payment.
• Track all force posts and no show charges as applicable.
• Promote all club golf activities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
• Assist the retail buyer with procurement and merchandise and support shop assistants with merchandising and sales.
• Prepare for all golf outings including coordinating scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, favors, pairing sheets and hole assignments.
• Assist with associate training.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
