Beavercreek Golf Club is seeking a capable supervisor to manage day-to-day operations of the golf department. You will help run the shop, coordinate outings, maintain handicaps and deliver golf instruction and club fittings.

The role requires scheduling staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and coordinating events under the Golf Course Manager. A PGA path and strong verbal skills are preferred.

GENERAL NATURE OF WORK:

This is responsible management work in the operation, supervision and performance of the day-to-day activities, personnel and resources of the Golf Department. An employee in this class is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Golf Department. Duties are performed under the general direction of the Assistant Golf Course Manager.

EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION:

This position requires general knowledge of the game of golf, shop operation and management, merchandising, staff scheduling, tournament operations, golf instruction and other fundamental golf knowledge. The primary work site is at the Beavercreek Golf Club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or the equivalent; or any combination of training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities and must be actively pursuing PGA membership. Municipal government experience desirable.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work other than normal working hours, and to work various shifts as necessary.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain after employment CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
