Job summary

The Assistant Golf Professional at Old Ranch Country Club supports daily golf operations, assists Pro Shop activities, and coordinates golf-related services to enhance member and guest experiences. This role emphasizes promoting the game of golf while aligning with club policies and standards.

Responsibilities include engaging members at events, supporting rounds for player development, managing tournaments, and overseeing handicap programs, practice facilities, and tee time procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• PGA certification preferred at associate level.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Weekend/holiday availability.
• Flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members through golf events and programs.
• Participate in rounds of golf to support player development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of outside areas, ranges, and cart storage.
• Coordinate, promote and manage tournaments and golf-related events.
• Assist in managing the handicap program, pro-shop operations and practice facilities.
• Provide guidance to staff on customer service excellence and tee time processing.
