Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks an experienced golf professional to support the NAS Corpus Christi Golf Course. The role assists the Golf Course Manager in controlling play, facilitating lessons, operating the pro shop and clubhouse, and coordinating tournaments and events.

The ideal candidate will hold PGA Class A designation, deliver lessons, oversee merchandise and cash handling, and ensure safe, quality service for a broad patron base across multiple golf

Qualifications

• Must hold Class "A" designation from the Professional Golf Association of America in good standing.
• Skilled golf professional whose experience or potential knowledge of the game qualifies them to teach golf.
• Willing to become knowledgeable in operating a financial establishment.
• Capable of making decisions of a wide variety with reference to USGA and PGA regulations and supervisory directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning to develop increased interest and patronage across golf programs.
• Supervise and schedule staff for a 27-hole Championship Course and related facilities.
• Conduct individual golf lessons and teach proper club use and fittings.
