Job summary

The Club at Quail Ridge is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations and deliver exceptional member service. The role assists with tournament operations, programming, instruction, merchandising, and golf shop duties while upholding high standards of the Golf Professional Team.

Candidates should hold an active PGA classification and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professionals with all aspects of the golf operation.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Club and actively promote the game of golf.
• Assist with Golf Tournament Operations with Golf Genius.
• Support the Junior Golf Program
• Provide golf instruction and playing opportunities with the membership.
• Manage and maintain the Club's POS and tee time systems, including Jonas and ForeTees.
• Provide club fitting and basic club repair services.
• Maintain an active classification with the PGA of America.
• Assist members and guests with the interpretation of the golf rules, regulations and policies.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professionals with all aspects of the golf operation.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Club and actively promote the game of golf.
• Assist with Golf Tournament Operations with Golf Genius.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
• Current classification with the PGA of America.
