Job summary

Indiana University is seeking a Facilities Operations professional to support both Pfau Course operations and building maintenance. The role includes coordinating turfgrass maintenance, irrigation systems, and course conditioning to ensure exceptional playing conditions.

Responsibilities include budgeting, planning maintenance projects, supervising student staff, and ensuring environmental safety. A bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in facilities or golf course operations are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, project management, business operations, or related field.
• 2 years in facilities management, project management, business operations, or related field.
• Preferred: 5 years at a high-end golf course, turfgrass knowledge, pesticide license, and irrigation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operation and maintenance of Pfau Course.
• Support course prep for daily play, tournaments, and events.
• Oversee maintenance planning, irrigation monitoring, and equipment coordination.
• Coordinate environmental stewardship and safety procedures.
• Prepare estimates for maintenance projects and repairs.
• Monitor inventory and procurement of supplies and materials.
• Participate in on-call rotations for weather and irrigation issues.
• Supervise seasonal and student employees.
