Job summary

Pin Placements seeks an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in Orlando to join its agronomy team at a premier property. You will work with the Golf Course Superintendent to oversee daily maintenance and course conditioning. Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance, turfgrass management, agronomy, or related field.
• Understanding of golf course maintenance practices and turfgrass management principles.
• Knowledge of irrigation, fertilization, pesticide applications, turf diseases, weeds, and insects.
• Experience operating golf course maintenance equipment.
• Ability to identify turf and irrigation issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead from the field and work with a maintenance team.
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida conditions and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance and conditioning of the golf course and practice facilities.
• Coordinate mowing, course setup, irrigation, fertilization, and landscaping activities.
• Monitor course conditions and address issues to maintain playability and appearance.
• Support irrigation management, soil moisture monitoring, and water efficiency.
• Lead and train maintenance staff; communicate expectations clearly.
• Assist with projects, budgeting, and inventory related to maintenance.
