Job summary

City of Lake Worth Beach seeks an Assistant Golf Course Manager to support the Golf Course Manager with shop operations, tee times, and events. You will ensure top-tier customer service, organize tournaments, outings, clinics, and league activities to boost our club's appeal.

The role requires PGA Associate status, strong Microsoft 365 skills, and ability to train staff, manage inventory, and coordinate junior camps, leagues, and corporate events while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• PGA Associate Level 2 or higher, Class A preferred.
• Minimum 2 years as PGA Associate.
• Operation of Golf Genius, GHIN handicap system.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple tasking duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf shop operations and tee time reservations.
• Manage golf shop staff, outside service staff, and volunteers.
• Open/close golf shop and secure facilities.
• Promote and book Corporate Tournaments/Outings.
• Coordinate Ladies Golf Association events.
• Run Junior Camps and Leagues; provide lessons.
• Maintain handicap records in GHIN.
• Track rounds and help create golf rates.
