Job summary

City of Lake Worth Beach is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Manager to oversee golf shop operations, tee time reservations, and outside services. The role includes staff management, event coordination, and instruction to players of all ages.

The position emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and organizing tournaments, leagues, and junior activities while ensuring the golf course runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple tasks.
• PGA Associate Level 2 or higher, Class A preferred.
• Minimum 2 years as PGA Associate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf shop operations and tee time reservations.
• Manage golf shop staff, outside service staff, and volunteers.
• Open, close, and secure golf shop and storage facilities.
• Assist with inventory and display of merchandise.
• Promote and book corporate tournaments/outings.
• Coordinate Ladies Golf Association events and junior programs.
• Provide individual and group lessons; oversee junior camps and leagues.
