Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington in Kirkland, WA seeks a dynamic on-site leader to drive club culture and guest experiences. You’ll welcome first-time guests, guide them to fitting memberships, and coach a team under the GM to keep visits motivating and real.

You will run daily operations, lead team huddles, and work toward a General Manager path across WA/OR locations, while modeling Motivating, Authentic, and Passionate values in a busy gym environment.

Qualifications

• You light up a room and enjoy talking with people from first timers to regulars.
• Able to guide guests to a decision with honesty and without pressure.
• Led or trained a team for 1+ year in a fast-paced setting.
• 2+ years in a people-facing role: fitness, hospitality, retail, or sales.
• Punctual, upbeat, and ready to pitch in when the club is busy.
• Familiar with gym or POS software, email, and scheduling tools.
• Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire (CPR training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead the club culture and set the tone for each shift.
• Run the club as manager on duty when the GM is away.
• Hold team huddles to share goals, promotions, and wins.
• Recognize great work and celebrate milestones with the team.
• Guide tours and help guests find memberships that fit goals.
• Follow up with leads, passes, and first-time visitors to convert to members.
• Assist members in upgrades, services, and ongoing engagement.
• Coordinate promotions, events, and community outreach.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff who fit the culture.
• Train front desk staff and maintain a great member experience.
• Create weekly schedules and manage labor goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback to help teammates grow.
