Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington in Portland, OR is seeking a dynamic leader to drive our gym culture. You welcome first-time guests, guide them to the right memberships, and partner with the GM to coach a Service Motivator/Club Keeper team for standout experiences.

You will promote internal advancement, build weekly schedules, and run openings and closings while keeping the club safe, clean, and engaging. This is a route toward General Manager across WA and OR.

Qualifications

• You light up a room and enjoy talking with people from first timers to regulars.
• You guide guests to decisions with honesty, not pressure.
• You’ve led or trained a team for 1+ year in a relevant setting.
• You have 2+ years in a people-facing role in fitness, hospitality, retail, or sales.
• Punctual, upbeat, and ready to pitch in when busy.

Responsibilities

• Build a motivating, authentic, and passionate gym culture and model it every shift.
• Lead the club as manager on duty when the GM is out and set the energy level.
• Run team huddles, share goals, promotions, and celebrate wins.
• Guide guests through tours and help them find memberships matching their goals.
• Recruit, train and onboard front desk staff to create a great member experience.
• Manage weekly schedules and labor goals while giving ongoing feedback.
