Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington is seeking a General Manager to lead the club, shape its culture, build a team that makes every guest feel welcome, and drive members toward their fitness goals. You set the standard for what a Gold's Gym PNW club can be.

Based in Kirkland, WA, this full-time, on-site role requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You’ll manage revenue, labor, and member experiences while developing leaders in a multi-club organization.

Qualifications

• Leader who genuinely wants to help people better themselves through fitness.
• 2+ years managing a team of 10 or more, with a track record of developing people
• 3+ years in fitness, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or other service operations
• Proven success hitting sales or revenue goals
• Comfortable reading KPI and labor reports and turning them into action
• Strong communicator, in writing and in person, and an even stronger listener
• Comfortable with gym or POS software, email, and scheduling tools
• Availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
• CPR/AED certification (which can be obtained after hire)

Responsibilities

• Set the standard for a motivating, authentic, and passionate club culture
• Develop your co-leader as a true partner in running the club
• Run team meetings to share goals, promotions, and wins
• Recognize great work and celebrate milestones
• Own the club's membership goals and hit them monthly
• Lead tours and guide guests to fitting memberships
• Coach on lead follow-up and guest experience
• Drive retention and upgrades, keep members engaged
• Bring promotions and community partnerships to life
• Recruit, hire, and onboard a culture-fit team
• Train and coach, provide feedback, lead by example
• Build schedules covering peak hours within budget
• Grow team members into future leaders
• Manage revenue, labor, and expenses weekly
• Present KPIs and plans to leadership
• Ensure every member interaction is positive
• Keep the club clean, safe, and equipment-ready
• Follow opening/closing procedures and policies
