Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. This leadership role drives guest satisfaction, staff development, and financial performance, stepping in for the GM when needed.

The AGM supervises teams, manages schedules and budgets, and ensures compliance with policies and brand standards while maintaining high service levels and seamless interdepartmental communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel industry experience.
• 2+ years supervising at least eight associates.
• Experience with property management systems and basic accounting practices.
• Hilton or Marriott experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop hotel associates.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, performance feedback, and associate development.
• Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance operations.
• Manage schedules, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and other administrative functions.
• Monitor labor, expenses, and operations within established budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, safety, and security procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain effective communication among departments and corporate support teams.
• Complete required operational documentation and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
