Job summary

At Home is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the DC General Manager to drive safety, operational, and financial goals in a high-volume distribution center. The AGM leads through others to build future leaders, foster accountability, and steer transformation in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes safety culture, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, with responsibility for labor planning, budgeting, and achieving performance targets

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; industry certifications (APICS, Six Sigma, Lean) a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive measurable results.
• Strong background in distribution systems and automation environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2 Operations Managers, 8-10 Supervisors, and 175-250 team members.
• Partner with the DC General Manager to meet safety, productivity, service, cost, and quality targets.
• Drive transformation and continuous improvement across shifts and processes.
• Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, and payroll alignment with goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and leadership development.
