Job summary

Maple Hospitality Group in Miami, FL is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our upscale dining team. You will supervise Floor Managers, ensure exceptional service, and drive financial performance while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires strong leadership, guest relations with VIP clients, and collaboration with the GM and Finance to meet budget goals. Travel and ongoing education opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 3 years of managerial experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant/hospitality establishment
• Experience with P&L and COGS and collaboration with accounting personnel
• Strong leadership in staffing and managing FOH staff and managers
• Ability to set financial goals with Finance and maintain operations

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer or employee complaints
• Assist GM in achieving company goals and take on new tasks
• Manage and develop Floor Managers
• Attend weekly Manager and Executive meetings
• Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards and compliance
• Adjust environment, music, lighting, and temperature for atmosphere
• Monitor industry trends and network with press publications
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, supplier contracts, and cost variances
• Recruit and train staff to embody company culture
• Monitor expenditures with accounting to stay within budget
