Bon Appetit Management Company is hiring an Assistant General Manager to oversee client accounts alongside the General Manager, ensuring adherence to budgets and high service standards.

You will lead safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while building strong relationships with staff, guests, and the client, and promoting growth across the team. The role emphasizes cross-department collaboration and dining integration with facility plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five to seven years upscale food service management experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching abilities.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused amid interruptions.
• Knowledge of budgeting, food cost controls and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the account with the General Manager in line with the approved budget and client expectations.
• Directs safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Fosters interdepartmental relations and integrates dining with facilities planning.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and coaches staff.
• Oversees purchasing, inventory, and menu planning in consultation with chefs.
• Ensures compliance with HACCP and health regulations.
