A leading swim school is looking for an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure a safe swimming environment. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children and hold relevant certifications. Responsibilities include staff training, cash management, customer service, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. A positive work atmosphere is prioritized, with opportunities for career advancement available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider.
• Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.
• Certifications in Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and first aid required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations following GSS standards.
• Manages staff to ensure productivity and satisfaction.
• Trains aquatics department for superior swim instruction.
• Manages retail and vending product mix and pricing.
• Ensures safety procedures and emergency plans are followed.
