Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and to learn essential management skills under the guidance of the General Manager.

This role offers entry-level managers the chance to practice judgment and discretion while leading a team, delivering feedback, and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates and coach shifts supervisors.
• Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Maintain leadership, organization, and policy adherence.
• Ensure brand standards and procedures are followed.
• Keep restaurant clean and inviting, adhering to brand standards.
• Manage cash and generate daily reports per directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to sustain relationships.
• Ensure inventory accuracy with spot counts and checks.
