Job summary

Soho House & Co is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a London-based Studio, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. The role involves leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, and delivering sales KPIs while learning the Soho Home standard.

The successful candidate will be based initially at another Soho Studio in London to learn the Soho Home way before leading the new Central London store.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a luxury/premium retail environment.
• Proactive and can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to think on feet to resolve queries quickly.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in leading the team and act as GM in their absence.
• Collaborate with GM to achieve KPIs and report sales data to relevant teams.
• Oversee in-store operations to improve efficiency.
• Support VM to ensure replenishment aligns with visual standards.
• Assist in payroll and rota submissions for the team.
• Raise and close sales invoices.

Job description

The Role…

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised, sales driven Assistant Manager to assist in leading the team at London based new Studio opening.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day to day running of the space, managing all aspects in their absence and delivering a seamless, ‘second to none’ customer service experience.

The role will touch specifically on operational efficiency and KPI attainment in line with company strategy.

• This role will initially be based at one of our other studios in London, so the successful candidate can learn the Soho Home way before leading the brand new Central London store*

Key Responsibilities..

• Supporting the General Manager in leading the team and acting as GM in their absence.
• Working alongside the GM to find innovative ways to deliver KPI’s set by the business and accurately reporting all sales data back to relevant teams.
• Take ownership of in store operations both front of house and back of house optimizing opportunity to improve operational efficiency.
• Supporting VM assistant to ensure replenishment is consistently up to date and in line with visual standards.
• Assistance in submission of payroll & Rota’s for the team.
• Raising and closing sales invoices
• Leading by example in demonstrating outstanding customer service and supporting staff members that require improvement.
• Supporting Site Stock Manager to stock take on a monthly basis to hit business KPI on stock accuracy.
• Immerse themselves in the Soho Home product to become an expert in Soho Houses interior design & style.
• Supporting the wider team with in-store events and collaboration
• Generating reports and valuable feedback for General Manager and also for wider business
• Being first point of contact for customer escalations

• Ability to think on their feet to quickly resolve queries and issues.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 360 and other relevant software
