Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
• One year of Management experience plus previous Goodwill Retail/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid MO or IL state driver's license and insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
• Leadership skills include quality decision-making, goal-setting, and problem-solving, with the ability to motivate and lead employees and hold them accountable.
• Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling, and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Assists Store Manager in overseeing store operations, resources, and budgets to meet or exceed goals.
• Model core values to uphold a safety, ethics, and quality culture.
• Supervise, direct, and train staff and ensure key functions are performed.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure donor/shopper retention and de-escalation of dissatisfaction.
• Coach employees on performance including discipline up to termination.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks and identify staff for advancement.
• Safeguard company property and report any theft or misconduct to management or loss prevention.
• Follow all agency policies and store values.
• Staffing and payroll adjustments as needed to maintain coverage.
• Identify process improvements to eliminate waste.
