Job summary

Golden Gate Bell, LLC, a Taco Bell franchisee, is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Daly City, CA. The AGM will support the General Manager in daily operations, lead shifts, and coach the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of restaurant leadership, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ServSafe certification. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays with a focus on safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks with quality assurance.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize customer experience.
• Prioritize health and safety, ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Participate in training and development, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the GM on recruiting and onboarding new hires.
• Assist GM in achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Provide 5-star service and customer satisfaction.
• Support GM in overall restaurant operations.
