ApplegreenUSA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New Jersey to help the General Manager run day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You’ll manage schedules, uphold brand standards, and deliver strong performance while working in a fast-paced quick-service environment at a growing network of travel plazas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates and manage shifts, coaching and developing shift supervisors.
• Step in and perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and positively influence morale during challenging times.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure restaurant cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure cash handling is accurate and daily reports are completed as directed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster long-term relationships.
