Job summary

Compass Group USA, a leader in hospitality services, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for the AMEX Centurion Lounge at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). You will support the General Manager in guiding day-to-day lounge operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.

The role demands hands-on leadership, a passion for premium hospitality, and a track record of developing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule and open availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
• Minimum of 3 years of food service and hospitality leadership in upscale environments such as airport lounges, restaurants, hotels, clubs or premium dining.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, safety, quality standards, and guest experience.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with labor, expenses, budgets, inventory, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily AMEX Centurion Lounge operations with focus on service, budgets, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee premium food, beverage, and hospitality experiences while maintaining high standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members fostering engagement and teamwork.
• Provide hands-on leadership across food and beverage, guest services, staffing, inventory, and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to support seamless lounge operations.
• Monitor labor productivity and service standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build relationships with guests, team members, clients and partners.
