Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee daily operations and learn essential management skills. This entry-level management role focuses on coaching teams, aligning with business objectives, and delivering strong customer experiences.

You will support leadership, maintain brand standards, manage cash, and help drive a positive, productive workplace across our locations in the Northeast and Midwest.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Basic food safety understanding.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of non-management associates; assign work and coach shifts supervisors.
• In the absence of the General Manager, perform duties as needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale during challenging times.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and daily reports are completed as directed.
• Uphold brand standards and store procedures to maximize operations and landlord relations.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through spot counts and checks.
