Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, MA seeks a full-time Assistant General Manager with supervisory experience to work closely with the General Manager of our Huron Ave shop. The AGM will oversee operations, staff training, and adherence to procedures, with responsibilities across front-of-house areas.

Qualifications

Experience supervising staff in a specialty food retail or wholesale environment.
Prior food and/or retail experience is required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Team leadership, including hiring, training, performance reviewing and education.
Commitment to Formaggio Kitchen's dedication to artisanal producers and our exemplary customer service.
Merchandising and product sourcing/buying.
Safety and regulatory compliance.
Monitoring product and labor costs and assisting the GM in addressing variances.
Staffing the shop and acting as interim department manager as needed.
