Job summary

Ludico by Tribeca Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the opening leadership team in New York. You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, support team development, and drive guest satisfaction with high hospitality standards.

The role requires a hands-on leader on the dining floor, strong operational and financial acumen, and the ability to motivate teams while ensuring exceptional guest experiences across service periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in upscale or fine dining environments.
• Leadership experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar role.
• Opening restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, hospitality best practices, and cost controls.
• Ability to manage labor, payroll, and guest satisfaction metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Lead front-of-house service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain a strong on-floor presence during service.
• Engage with guests, resolve concerns, and drive guest satisfaction and retention.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Monitor labor costs, staffing, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
• Review sales and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on cost control and revenue initiatives.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make decisions in the GM's absence.
