Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will make real-time decisions, allocate resources, and help drive efficiency while learning through U-Haul University.

Based in San Antonio, TX at 5810 San Pedro Ave, you’ll play a key role in operations and guest experiences. The position offers hands-on training, advancement potential, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license and clean driving record
• Leadership experience in any form
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
