Job summary

Wendy's in Metairie is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive sales, and maintain high standards of customer service. You will manage staff, schedules, training, and safety protocols to deliver a consistent guest experience.

The AGM will model a fun, family environment and work closely with the General Manager to achieve budgets, quality and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts (Weekends/holidays).
• Valid driver's license in good standing and private transportation access.
• Consent to background screening and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations and maintain financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules and staffing levels.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Support health and safety inspections and standards compliance.
