Job summary

Wendy's in Lake Charles, LA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach a high‑performing team, and drive sales and guest satisfaction. The AGM will manage scheduling, training and financial controls, while upholding food safety and brand standards in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior assistant management experience in a high‑volume setting, a valid DL, and a commitment to flexible hours, weekend work, and background screening

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high‑volume food service preferred.
• Willingness to work 50–55 hours per week, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent; possess required documents by state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Support GM in managing daily restaurant operations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training and development of team.
• Maintain day‑to‑day financial controls and food safety standards.
• Recruit, interview and orient new team members; coach and counsel staff as needed.
• Ensure health and safety inspections are met and the restaurant environment is family‑friendly.
