Job summary

Wendy's in Groves, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach staff, and drive sales performance. You will model excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food safety and financial controls.

The AGM will oversee scheduling, training, and development of team members, while ensuring a fun, fast-paced, family-friendly environment. A minimum of 1 year in an Assistant Manager role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service (preferred).
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• Possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, and orientate team.
